The industry regualtions are a way of controlling the content of industrys, an example of this would be the BBFC (British Board Of Film Classification) which regulates the british media industry.
These regualtions are used to protect more sensitive viewers for example children, from adult content containing things like violenece, drug use and strong language. This allows the viewers to make a informed decidion wether the film is indeed the right one for them.
