Company Case Study - Warner Brothers

Warner Brothers Inc is an American entertainment company, it was founded in 1923 on April 4th but some of the productions before registered go as far back as 1918. Today Warner Brothers is a giant company with millions of dollars backing them up due to the many super successful productions, they work on many sets in the UK due to cheaper taxes, allowing for cheaper production.

Some of the most well known Warner Brothers films are, Dark Knight, Harry Potter and American sniper, which are the top three in terms of profit for the company with the Dark Knight film brining in about $533,345,358, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 taking in $448,139,099 gross profit and number three, American Sniper with $350,126,372. The film company has a very large budget, the profit they make from most of there films is huge returning the money spent on the costly film, and even more. The company obviously works with passion on the films however the company this size, with this amount of money obviously works for the profit and is not driven by passion for film making like smaller independent companies, such as Warp Films.

Overall this company has influenced me on my film making as there high budget breath taking films inspire me to create something or at least attempt to of the same standard. I aim to create media which will be just as impactful and popular, seeking to make the audience feel something not just see it.
